Cover. The cover was okay, I did wonder why the female eyes were black and not ember.

Did the book end the way you expected? No, and I am guessing there will be a third to this series.

Did the plot pull you in or did you feel you had to force yourself to read the book? It was not a forced read but did not fully pull me in. I am guessing because this is the second in the series. Would love to read the first book in the series to understand more.
