Overall plot - There was a Nicole Kidman movie many years ago, The Invasion, about people who fall asleep and die. This book was a lot like that and had many different twists. Dan's day goes from bad to worse and he faces all sorts of challenges.

Characters - I really liked the fact that Dan had his family to rely on and that they attempted to 'handle' the issues they were facing. Luck wasn't on their side but the writer's way of keeping together was touching.

Writing style - This was a action book in many different ways. There's death and there's a lot of fast-paced action. However, I felt some parts were to long winded.
