Which did you find more appealing, the introduction or the conclusion? The conclusion. The beginning was too dry for my liking. As Jeff moved from one stage of his life to another, something was missing. Be it the background, the lack of depth for some of the characters … But somewhere hallway through the book, things pick up and after that you don’t want to put the book down.
Why would you recommend or not recommend this book? I would recommend it to anyone who likes Westerns and doesn’t mind a dip in the pace here and there. This was more than a pleasant read for me and some parts of the story were simply breathtaking where word selection was concerned.
Did the book description relate to the story? The description wasn’t much and I would preferred an introduction to the key characters. However, I really liked this line in the description very much, “Jeff Havens has a fast gun, a long memory and he’s back.”
